Back to Basics with Broccoli

Broccoli is loaded with bone-building vitamins that help fight osteoarthritis. I grew up eating broccoli loaded with cheese or nestled in with rice and cheese and baked. Did you know that added some lemon can totally alter and bring out flavors in broccoli you didn't know it had?



Roasted Broccoli w/Garlic and Lemon

Ingredients

1 Head of Broccoli - separate florets

2 Teaspoons of Olive Oil

Himalayan Salt & Pepper to Taste

1/2 Clove Garlic

1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice


Cooking

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees

2. In a large bowl toss broccoli florets, olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic

3. Bake for 20 minutes

4. Remove from oven and toss with lemon juice.
